In 2074 a branch of NASA's now considerably funded exploration division named Planetary Research Systems has developed a pressurized exploration unit dubbed ARTEMIS.
The ARTEMIS (Advanced Research and Technology for Exploration and Mobile Initiative Systems) is equipped with state of the art propulsion, life support and scanning systems. Utilizing a mixture of lightweight yet powerful electrical motors coupled with superconducting materials it's 15ft wheels have no problem traversing whatever harsh terrain it is faced with.
The large intakes on each side of the main cabin suck in the atmosphere of it's host planet and use it to create breathable air for the crew.
All in all the Artemis provides any exploration mission with an unstoppable mobile research platform as well as keeping the scientists well protected from whatever inhospitable environment surrounds them.
